Frequently Asked Question
General
What color mode should my files be?
Your designs should always start and finish in CMYK color mode.
What is rich black and how can I get it?
Rich black is an ink mixture of solid black, 100% K, with additional CMY ink. This results in a darker tone than black ink alone. If you print black alone as 100% K, the resulting black may not be as dark as you might like.
I recommend using C 60 M 40 Y 40 K 100. This will give you a deep, dark, rich black.
*Products that are printed with dye-sublimation (9oz Premium Polyester Banner, Flags, Table Covers, Fabric Tube Displays, etc.) call for the following color: C 100 M 100 Y 100 K 100
What resolution should my file be?
Your artwork files should be at 300 dpi. Low-resolution files may be printed as is or will be placed on hold until I receive new files, slowing your turn-around.
What is the standard round corner radius?
I offer 1/4″ and 1/8″ radius round corners to all customers.
What's the difference between Spot UV and Raised Spot UV?
Spot UV is a flat finish of a shiny layer that goes on the exact spot where you would like your printed piece to have an area of a high gloss coating.
Raised Spot UV is the same process, except the UV that gets applied stands out from the product, and if you run your fingers over the card you will feel the UV. The depth of the Raised Spot UV is 50 microns.
Should I include guidelines or crop marks on the art for slits, etc.?
No, I will send a template for you to design the art but remove and do not include guides for slits, if a template is sent as a layer on the art, it will print.
What type of shipping service does LHD use?
I offer common carrier shipping with multiple service methods e.g. Ground, Next Day Air, etc.
Purolator shipping service is available to US and Canadian residents only for orders produced and shipped within Canada.
Can I group ship orders?
All items in the cart will ship to a single location. If items need to be sent to different locations, separate orders for each location will need to be placed.
How do I track my packages?
You can track by using the original tracking number with the final delivery leg made by USPS at usps.com. Once your package has been delivered to a USPS facility, the USPS tracking information will become available.
What are the freight shipping options?
Freight – No Liftgate
The delivery truck will come to your business or home. You will be entirely responsible for removing the pallet from their truck. This option is only recommended for businesses with a forklift or standard 48″ high dock w/ pallet jack.
Freight – With Liftgate
The delivery truck will come to your business or home. They will lower the pallet to the ground on a lift gate. You will be entirely responsible for moving the pallet yourself. This option is only recommended if you have a pallet jack or forklift.
Freight – Inside Delivery
The delivery truck will come to your business or home. They will lower the pallet to the ground on a lift gate and move the pallet inside to ground level. If you need it delivered to a higher floor, you must have a FREIGHT elevator.

Web Design
How should I submit written and photographic content for you to use?
Your best option is to submit text and photos in electronic format. Type up the content and send it to us in a word processor document, and send the images via email.
Why do I need a domain e-mail address?
Consider this for a moment. Imagine you’re about to purchase from a company online. They request your payment information via email sent from an address like “company.name@hotmail.com”. Would you feel safe providing your payment details through an email account that anyone could have created? Many people don’t realize how unprofessional it appears when emails are sent from a free email provider. Avoid falling into that trap.
How much does a new website cost?
The determination of the cost of website design is not straightforward as it varies based on the specific requirements of each project. Each website has its unique characteristics and necessitates different elements. I specialize in tailoring custom website designs to meet the specific needs of your business. By conducting a thorough assessment of your requirements and engaging in substantial dialogue, I will provide you with a precise quotation based on this comprehensive evaluation.
Do you only create WordPress websites?
Absolutely not. While WordPress is indeed an exceptional content management system, boasting over 30% of the web, its dominance is attributable to its unmatched flexibility and user-friendly interface. If your website is currently on a different platform like Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify, rest assured that I can not only design and bring it to life but also provide comprehensive guidance on managing it. Should you require assistance with maintenance, I offer a specialized maintenance package service for all my clients.
Do I have to be local to work with you?
Nope! I collaborate with clients globally and operate remotely, enabling me to offer flexibility and accessibility to my clients.
Do you offer maintenance services?
Yes! I do offer monthly maintenance contracts.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Absolutely! Having a mobile-friendly website is more important than ever! I work hard to ensure your website looks great on all devices.
How many pages am I allowed to have?
That’s entirely up to you!

What is Every Door Direct Mail™ (EDDM)?
EDDM is a U.S. Postal Service program developed to help businesses get their promotions and advertisements into the hands of a targeted audience while reducing the cost of preparing and delivering mailing campaigns.
It’s the perfect solution for businesses large and small, allowing you to target homes in your area or across the country. No mailing list or postage permit is required, which saves you time and money. We have a Print Only option, where we print the pieces and you handle the rest of the process with USPS, and a Full Service solution, where we take care of everything.
Please note: EDDM orders must meet “commercial flat” specifications and all other USPS requirements. The built-in EDDM Full Service tool and the EDDM Full Service templates make these specifications easy to adhere to.
